Nike combined a "Free" sole and a "Woven" style upper to create this piece of art. A rich suede upper is mixed with synthetic woven materials which run the length of the upper. The 5.0 designation is part of the Nike "Free" scale in which 0 represents being barefoot, and 10 represents Nike’s most supportive shoe. You can find these now at participating Nike retailers. Personally, I don't care if it's a woman's shoe or not, because if I find these in my size I'm going to buy them for myself!
